Tamarillo takes a minimalist approach: just the essentials. It displays an unobtrusive timer in the menu bar and limits configuration to the essential settings.
A popup or sound nudges you to take a break. But you can keep it even simpler — disable them, and the menu bar clearly indicates when it's time to stop for a moment.
Tamarillo's resource usage is minimal too. The install is under 2 MB and CPU usage is almost 0%.
Tamarillo Timer respects your privacy. All of your settings stay on your device — they're saved locally and never sent anywhere. There's no account and no login. The app doesn't track you or "phone home": it makes no network connections of its own, bundles no analytics or advertising code, and shows no ads.
